Verizon was bringing 5G ultra wideband to the world, and we were brought on as a team to help a big agency pitch this very big client. Ultimately, two of our big ideas were chosen for the teams to ideate around. Here are a few of our creative contributions within one of them. The idea was simple: when a tool takes a giant leap forward in what it can do, you can take a giant leap forward in what you can do.
OOH + NEWSPAPER
When Verizon created 5G Ultra Wideband to work faster and reach further, it wasn’t just so you could upgrade your network, but so you could upgrade you.
ACTIVATIONS
Here are just a few of the ways we had some fun bringing this idea to life outside of traditional media.
We are all living in our own bubbles—within our own towns and social networks. we’re not exposed to altering points of view/experiences, and it’s causing our nation to be more divided than ever.
What if verizon could help change that--by bringing those POVs/experiences to people (conservatives and liberals alike) through 5G ultra wideband immersive technology. So we can all at least better understand the other side.
Because understanding is the key to healing and moving forward, together.
Imagine if Verizon could help a no-name town called “no name” make a name for itself. How? By bringing 5G ultra wideband to this town as well as amazing people who can help them discover innovative ways to put it to use.
We’d do things like use immersive technology bring the world’s biggest museum show to the town, put on an autonomous car race, and think up all sorts of things that help put "No Name" on the innovation map.
As children of the 80's, we couldn't help but ask ourselves: can Verizon 5G ultra wideband help bring a band back that was a one-hit-wonder? Hell yes, it can.
We plan would be to recreate aha’s famous "Take on Me" video — as an immersive world people can explore. We’d also help the band compose a new hit, get them out in front of online audiences, and back onto the charts.
